About the Equal Opportunities and Social Development (EOSD)
The project “Equal Opportunities and Social Development” (EOSD) is implemented by GIZ on behalf of The German Government and with co-commissioning from the EU.
It supports the young population in Egypt (age 16-29) to become more involved in the country's society and development, with a focus on young women and young persons with disabilities.
In partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, it provides capacity development and awareness raising measures on topics related to social participation and equal opportunities, including gender equality, inclusion of persons with disabilities and population dynamics.
